OK, so its been a week, but everyone deserves a break, have been up in Northumberland having an absolutely great time with family.
So, Friday inspiration is here, found this site, which is full of vintage and one offs, which is not really my thing at all but I found these very appealing houses.
I love all the little houses that have been used in and on product lines in the scrap booking industry over the years, whether its “your thing” or not you can certainly appreciate their appeal, so check out these
Ripe is a lovely font, modern and curvy and absolutely free. Download it here

Raspberry and Duck Egg Blue are the colours that are making me happy right now also Lime Green and Charcoal, I found a great combination over there on the Kuler web site today, its called luck be a lady tonight.
Click on the link and see if it inspires you, if not there are hundreds more schemes on there that will, I guarentee it.
I am posting an old sketch of mine that anyone who reads Scrapbook Inspirations will probably have seen as it was part of a feature I did.
Those of you that haven’t seen it, enjoy, those who have, enjoy it again, turn it around and try it from a different perspective.
Find it here and as always if you use it please send me an email of your layout and I’ll post it in the gallery.
Hope you all had a great weekend, mine was quiet but I got a lot of those jobs that I had been putting off doing, finally DONE !
So the freebie for today is a recipe card, but I think that it would make a great journaling card, try trimming off the top line of text and print off at a reduced size like A5, super sweet and gorgeous summery colours
The PDF can be found here
Well life kind of got in the way of blog posting yesterday and I had to actually do my paid job!!
so I didn’t get around to posting a font, no matter I am making up for it today and posting Friday’s share too.
One of my all time favourite display fonts is BEBAS, I use it alot, I like to combine it with a cursive or script font to create a title with contrast. anyway if you want to give it a go you can find it here free for personal use.
Inspiration, always a tricky decision as lots of different things inspire me at the moment. I am loving displays of quilting fabric, sewing was my first love and I am attempting to get back to doing some fabric projects soon, I can totally loose myself in a fabric store.
Whilst I think I have a knack for putting a colour scheme together I admire the combinations of colours and patterns that textile designers produce.
So today’s inspiration is a stack of quilting fabric from Denyse Schmidt
see if you can be inspired by these colours and patterns.
In my part of the country today it is warm, but DULL, very GREY, seriously sapping my energy !!
Anyway, I saw this little piece of inspiration on a kids program and immediately thought WOW those colours look great together I need to use those on a page, so I’m sharing this logo with you so that you might gain some inspiration from it too.
You could try changing the ratio of the colours use more blue and green and less orange and black, love that font too !
mail me with your creations and I’ll add them to the gallery.
This sketch is a little more detailed than my usual sketches
ENJOY and don’t forget is you use it as a basis for a LO send me photo and I will include it in the gallery.
Sketch is here
OK I was doing some serious cyber surfing over the weekend and found some great stuff on some really inspiring blogs, so today I am posting a link to something that isn’t meant to be for scrap booking but I thought that they could definitely be re-purposed and used that way.
These are cupcake toppers that you print out yourselves, they would make great tags as well as page embellishments or card toppers punched out with a scallop circle punch.
You can print them off from here click on the “designs” in this feature and it will automatically download the PDF for you
I have been giving a lot of thought to the structure of this blog and starting Monday it is going to have a more pre defined format, I’m still fine tuning it at the moment but it is going to start with ….
Mondays being Freebies Day either mine or links to someone else who has blog freebies, I think that is a great way to start the week…
Then Tuesday’s is going to be Sketch day,
Wednesdays should be all about Colour Inspiration, something to give mid week a lift,
Thursday’s Font day and
Friday’s are for sharing, designs, ideas, photos, layouts, cards etc …
OK that’s the plan I just hope I am equal to the challenge
