Ok so you know I wasn’t awfully impressed with the journaling cards I designed… So I did some more last night. Still frighteningly simple I stretched the background right across the page so that you can cut them down to the size you want and add round corners or keep the square.
They also look fab if you print them out at a 50% reduction, as journaling elements on your photos.
You can download them here
In my search and research for printable journaling cards for my 365 project I came across lots of freebies that I liked. Not all of them were what I wanted for my 365 album but would be great for other projects.
Some are great for cards and scrapbook pages, others for labels and journaling options
A few from Creativity Prompt
Creativityprompt.com has three great downloadable freebies, some labels, a circular journaling spot and some journaling cards

OK, I have given up “messing” with these, they are uber-simple.
I designed them to use on the 365 project, they are 3 x 4 inches so that they fit into the 4 small pockets across the middle of the Becky Higgins divided page protectors OR you can sit two of them side by side in the 6×4 pockets of the AC divided page protectors.
I am using the AC variety and stitching down the middle of some of the pockets to create the smaller 3 x 4 pockets.
They look good printed on Kraft, Cream or white card.
You can download them from the FREEBIES page
Hope that they are useful for you.
I’m still not happy with my choice of journaling cards so I am not going to share them just yet.
BUT I have been looking at other options that are available out there and there are lots of freebies that can be used for journaling on, even if that wasn’t their original purpose.
I like these tags from Cathy Z, nice and simple, great size great shape.
I’m also going to print off some of these notes from Livivng Locurto. (unable to share photo, click on link for look-see)
Here is another one, I like the “thankful” sentiment on this one.
… I am creatively challenged.
Its taken me all week so far to design a journalling card I am happy with for “My 365″ and I’m not actually that sure I like it now !!
Any way, I am failing on the taking a photo a day, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to manage that, its not for lack of trying but I always seem to think about the photo when its too late in the day and the lighting is rubbish.
Another hold up is the page protectors, the ones I have don’t fit properly in the album I have, SO I am waiting on some new protectors that fit the album.
In the mean time I figured I would get on with the first page which is essentially my front cover, I don’t have any great, recent photos of the family so I am using a drawing that my Son did for me this weekend.
NOW I’m dithering about the format of the front cover should it be in divided page protectors like the rest of the album or should I make a 12×12 layout.
OH THE PROCRASTINATING …… It’s going to make my head implode !!
On the flip side I will post my home made journalling cards later today. But for now I leave you with my family portrait.
Why is it that its only your Laundry and your “To Do” list that is never ending?
Working on both of these things today, I am fast approaching the “why bother washing clothes as they only get dirty again” stage but I know deep down that is SO not practical.
My TO DO list is another matter entirely, I take three things off and add five things to the bottom, or the three things I just completed have themselves generated another bunch of things to add to the bottom of the list.
In reality I know that I am never going to have an empty To Do list, as LAUNDRY will always be on it !!
But I am aiming to get the priority and deadline stuff done so that I can sneak in a few “want to do’s”
Went for a very chilly walk at the weekend and tried to take some photos for my 365 album, Phooey ! is all I have to say about those. None of them came out as I had imagined they would, felt a bit deflated about them really. Although I really liked this one, this is a keeper.
