I know we need it, but Oh boy did we get some rain this morning …. T-O-R-R-E-N-T-I-A-L
Not much to offer this morning, I am crawling along at the pace of a slug today for some reason, sorry slugs no offence.
I took a photo of the two “month pages” that I have completed for my “Album of the Summer” just so that you can see that a) I do scrap and b) I do use my own products.

I have done one for august as well and I am aiming (notice the careful choice of words there) to make some headway with this album next week.
But not really sure what about so I’m going to add some kid quotes.
I found these in an old notebook at the bottom of a handbag I hadn’t used recently.
These were observations made by my 8yr old who was at the time only 6, whilst on our annual bucket and spade holiday to Northumberland.
“Its a dig up” after patiently explaining to him what an excavation was.
“Are we meat ? “ followed a conversation about what meat comes from what animal
“Its another damaged castle” said as we pulled up outside a historical ruin !
and because I don’t like posts without photos …. one of my usual OMG expressions !!
Been away spending time with family in a very beautiful part of the country
The kids always enjoy their annual bucket and spade holiday, playing with their cousins, the dog had a blast running around on the beach with his fur baby cousin and we got to spend time with my sister and brother in law and my parents.
Unfortunately its back to reality, washing, ironing food shopping, work and everything else that has piled up whilst we have been away. As I have shared before, I am a house slob, so most of the chores are going to wait … I am going to continue in the holiday frame of mind and enjoy my weekend first.
