Inset day on Friday and a week off for half term to look forward to – WHOOPEE !
All of this preceded by a four day week at school.
Plenty of things to cross off the to do list before then though, chores and work wise.
So much for a two week heat wave starting here at the weekend, the only thing we have lots of at the moment is seriously blustery wind, great for drying your laundry, rubbish on the long hair front, time to call the hair dresser I think.

I love these bags and a few other bits from this range, I was hoping to get them and send them to my friend in the states, I don’t often see patriotic gifts that I like so this range made me quite giddy.
Anyway I was as a matter of course going to pin these on to my pinterest page, they would have been my first additions to the page that I haven’t got yet !!
Okay so after much deliberating and lots of cyber cruising through other peoples inspiration pages I decided I would join !
After all, it was a good idea, a way of keeping all my online inspiration in one place, and being able to share it too, so I registered.
Three attempts later, I gave up, mainly because I thought I was doing something wrong, I kept getting a message “You have to be invited”
DO I, WHY ?
Is it an elite forum, do I need to be vetted, interviewed, screened, or is there just a waiting list ? (at which point a different response to the, you have to be invited, would be more appropriate)
Seriously, after waiting a week now, I am afraid, pinterest, I am over you !!
Sour grapes, probably, cutting my nose off to spite my face, definitely, will I still join IF I get invited, most likely, I am such a hypocrite !!
Anyone else had the “You have to be invited” response
OR is it just me that is a pinterest leper !

Today its a set of journaling cards based on a clock face, each has a sentiment and I designed them to be printed off onto white card stock. THe sample shows one of them being used as an accent on a baby congrats card, the simple design of these cards makes them really useable on a range of craft projects.

Just busy with work and mag commitments right now.
planning, doing a lot of that at the moment, my desk is littered with lists for a whole host of different topics, work, home, scrap booking, deadlines, holiday activities, easy to get overwhelmed !!
Created this whilst I was messing about on the computer the other night with no real purpose, I think I may have a go at printing it onto that special t shirt transfer paper and then ironing it onto a marl grey t shirt.
This is a phrase I say a lot to my kids as a way of illustrating that I have the life experience to know better than them, at the moment !!

A nice extended break over Easter and the May bank holidays was had by all but its time to get back to it now !
Quite tricky getting back into the routine again, so just a simple post today, something I saw over at Cathe Holden’s Blog that I wanted to point you to, some FREE very cute vintage dog printables. Please note I don’t do cute or vintage but these are very hard to resist.
