OK so I know I primarily design these journaling cards for my own benefit but there’s no harm in sharing is there ?
I designed this card to reflect the fact that some of my days nothing really happens, those days that we spend at home chilling, doing nothing significant.
Enjoy, these are intended to be printed as 6×4, if your printer allows it you could reduce the scale to 70% or 75% and they would print out at approx 4×3 too.
Download them in the usual place – HERE
Don’t forget – let me know your thoughts.
Well not really but it is the last week at school before the Easter hols, so it feels that way and as my jobs are school related, I do look forward to the school holidays.
I am still ticking along with Project life and designing cards for Papercraft Inspirations too.
I think I mentioned I have been working on some border strip designs, well I have completed them – YAY !
They are shown here printed off onto plain smooth white card stock and I cut them out with a scalloped edge, I have also shown them with a “torn from a note book” edge too which I rather like, I am working on some more of these with a type design
I am going to offer some of these designs (glasses, bikes, people icons) as a freebie, If you want the bus and or camera designs I will be charging a small fee for those as they are my personal design, the bus and camera I put together from scratch, these aren’t clip art or dings.
If you want any of the designs with either a scalloped or note book edge again I can offer these at a small charge.
All the border strips measure approx 10.5 inches x 3/4 (27 cm x 2 cm )
If you want to purchase, leave me a comment with your email addy and I will mail you with the prices.
But its still darn cold !
Looking outside at the blue skies and fluffy white clouds lulls you into a false sense of security, the sunshine makes you think its going to be warm.
Still its smashing to be able to have the windows open all over the house and have the laundry hanging on the line.
I am in the process of designing some more journaling cards and some border strips too, this is the first one off the line this week, its quite versatile, I think. Prints off as a 4×6 inch card and looks best printed on white card stock to emphasise the clean graphic qualities.
Useful in mini books layouts and of course in those project life albums.
You can find them in the usual place HERE
Leave me some feedback in the comments xx
OK I got there eventually – here is a peek of the papers, journaling cards and number tags that are available with this kit, the numbers go from 1-31 so that you can document the whole of December.
Tomorrow I will be posting a peek at the binder, the dividers and the transparencies !!
Please feel free to comment on this post and tomorrows post to be entered for the give away.
comments accepted until midnight on Saturday GMT and the winner will be drawn randomly and announced on Sunday morning.
Hi there I just wanted to share today some information about I swap I am going to participate in. Firstly let me start by saying that I don’t normally do swaps, I did a couple when I first started scrapping in 2004 but after a couple of times when I got questionable swaps back I decided that it wasn’t for me.
SO what has made me change my mind – well this swap is being organised by the very lovely Monika Wright and her Swap Buddy in France Sophie Charlotte Chapman
The two ladies decided to do a scrap swap with each other but then thought how great would it be to open it up to their blog readers and make it an international swap. The way it works is you leave a comment HERE on Monikas blog or HERE on Sophies blog stating your name, location and email address and you will be paired up with a French Scrapper to swap scrap goodies with.
So what are you waiting for, get on over to either Monika or Sophie’s blogs and read all the details and sign up.
You have until the 4th of October to put your names on the list.
whilst I am not eager to be back at school, me and the boys, I am really looking forward to the first of September and the start of Shim’s LSNED. I have been a silent, unproductive lurker for many years during this class but not this year !!
After having a great time doing the JYC album a few years ago, although I NEVER completed an album, I took a different tact last year and not only did I thoroughly enjoy the process I actually completed the entire album,
My first mini book/album ever.
I am always quite proficient at the research and preparation stage but not great at the follow through and completion, but now I have done it once I have no excuses.
As mentioned in previous posts I have the album and have selected some of the papers I hope to use, I have designed the date tags, need to print and trim them. Last night I started making a selection of journaling cards to give me some different options.
I designed these simple cards specifically for my album, size 6 x 12 and its colour scheme. But I am happy to share these if anyone else thinks that they can use them on their projects.
Each card measures 20 cm by 6.5 cm (approx 8×2.5 inches) and you get four onto an A4 landscape sheet
Enjoy – download them here
I have taken my first steps to doing Shim’s LSNED class
I ordered the 6 x 12 Pink Paislee album that I was coveting in my last post – YAY
I have now selected a range of papers and card from my stash and cut them all down to 6 x 12, the papers don’t all co-ordinated but I like the mix I have chosen. I haven’t hole punched them yet I am waiting for the album to arrive first – obviously.
Here they all are including my repurposed Starbucks bag
I have also designed some date tags, I made these especially for this project and they are all my own design.
I have turned them into a PDF so if you want to print them and use them too – that’s cool. (I would appreciate being credited should you use them on your projects – Please)
Although I have printed them onto tags, I just used cream card and cut them out, then punched a hole centrally so that they looked like they were on the top end of a luggage tag. I think that they would work just as well punched out with a circular punch or printed onto stickers.
You can download them HERE
edited to add – I have added an extra PDF with the 31st on it plus some spare st, nd, rd, th so that you can make any number you choose into a date. Adding the 31st means that they can be used for Shim’s JYC class or Ali’s December Daily class.
Okay apologies, this has been a long time coming, in the last ten days life just got in the way BUT today is . . .
Is it a bird, is it a plane, no its a Summer Journal. Chip board covers, spiral bound and filled with a great selection of exclusive Scrapbook Printables Page Designs, fourteen in total, these are complimented by two patterned paper pages, three transparency pages and a keep sake pocket, the whole thing is finished off with a typographic cover design and a funky elastic closure band.
As a bonus, I am also including a sheet of circle stickers, five page tabs, five book clips, four tickets and one large luggage tag and five medium luggage tags.
This is a really versatile journal, document your entire summer a couple of lines each day or add a selection of photos and document your annual one or two week break.
WANT TO WIN THIS – just enter your name and your email address in the comments on this post.
comments will stay open until midnight on Monday and I will announce the winner on Tuesday
Just because its Friday and I am well and truly looking forward to the weekend, mostly because neither of the boys have any homework such a relief, makes for a nag free zone !
also because this is my penultimate post before the give away on my 250th post.
and as it is the penultimate post and for all those of you who have kept up with my ramblings and sneak peeks I am doing a freebie today.
I designed these tags to go with the give away kit, them thought, nope, lets do a freebie on Friday, so here they are, I have printed them out on both white and kraft card stock as is my usual practice and the design looks great on both. the cutting marks are there so that you can turn this into a rectangular journaling card or a page for a mini tag size book, but I simply sipped off the corners at an angle punched a hole centrally and added string – VOILA home made luggage tag
Download it in the usual place – HERE
OK enjoy and stay tuned for the give away post next week. All you silent “blog lurkers” out there please remember “you gotta be in it to win it” so leave me a comment on the give away post even if you don’t normally.
Just a very short post to say that I have a set of Travel Ticket Tags as this weeks freebie over on UKScrappers today.
Don’t miss out, these look really nifty printed out on either white or kraft card stock, so get on over to UKS and get the free download.
I did this layout a while ago as part of a feature over on Shimelle.com, I designed the tailor made Dublin travel ticket tag,for this layout, this is where the inspiration came from for the UKS printable set.
